I began blogging in 2012 alongside 12 contributors on my site, Mind’s Seat, with a simple goal: to inspire, motivate, encourage, and influence others.
Somewhere along the way, I stepped away from writing—and for more than a decade, I stayed silent.
Now, in 2026, I return with renewed purpose.
This time, I write with intention, clarity, and a defined voice—one that reflects who I’ve become and what I’ve come to understand.
Still, a question lingers: do people even read blogs anymore?
In an age shaped by social media, where audiobooks play in the background and memes and reels dominate attention, the landscape has undeniably changed.
Readership hasn’t disappeared—but it has evolved.
And yet, I’ve made my decision.
With or without an audience, I will write.
I am Marmar Thunder—a preacher, team-building facilitator, community development worker, and dedicated memory caregiver.
I am many things—but above all, I am a husband and a father.
If you’re here, I invite you to think, to learn, and to reason with me.
God bless you.
